About this part

What it is and why it is made that way

Channel brackets wrap an edge and hold something against it — a rail, a panel, a gasket run. The formed section gives stiffness in one direction with very little material, and the rolled lips remove the sharp edge that would otherwise cut into the panel it clamps. Available with tapped or slotted fixing points.

  • U, C and hat sections formed in one operation
  • Rolled lips on edges that contact the clamped part
  • Tapped, slotted or plain fixing points
  • Stamped in 1.0 – 3.0 mm sheet
