About this part

What it is and why it is made that way

This is the core of our machining work: the bushings, blocks, brackets and housings that other assemblies are built around. Every bore and every mounting face is machined rather than cast or bought, so the part fits the assembly it is designed for. Small parts are machined in one setup to keep the relationship between the bore and the face.

  • Bore and mounting faces machined in the same setup
  • Turned and milled on CNC equipment, 3-axis through 5-axis
  • H7 / H8 bores and parallel faces to drawing
  • Full inspection report issued per batch

Materials

  • Aluminium 6061-T6 / 7075-T6
  • Carbon steel 45# / Q235
  • Stainless 304 / 316L
  • Copper C360 / brass HPb59-1
  • Engineering plastics (POM, nylon, PTFE)

Production processes

  • 3-axis CNC turning
  • 3-axis CNC milling
  • 4-axis CNC milling
  • 5-axis machining

Typical applications

  • Bearing and linear-guide housings
  • Hydraulic manifold blocks
  • Spacer blocks and standoffs
  • Equipment mounting blocks
