Cast Pump & Gearbox Housings
Sand-cast pump and gearbox housings in grey iron and alloy steel, machined on the critical faces to the drawing.
Cast bearing housings with a bored seat, split or one-piece, machined so the bearing sits concentric in the housing.
| Casting weight | 1 – 300 kg per part |
|---|---|
| Tolerance | ±1.5 mm as-cast; ±0.10 mm after machining |
| Casting standard | JB/T 7946 general casting tolerance |

The bore in a bearing housing is the reference for everything else on it. We machine the housing on its own datum so the seat is concentric with the mounting face, which is what stops the bearing running with side load. One-piece and split designs are both available, with the split faces machined flat and matching.
The ranges below are what this shop typically holds. Anything tighter than the baseline is possible — send the drawing and we will confirm it against your specific tolerances rather than quote from a table.

If this is not quite your part, these are made on the same equipment with the same inspection.
