Die-Cast Transmission Gears
Die-cast aluminium transmission gears with machined tooth faces, for gearbox and actuator applications.
Die-cast aluminium gearbox housings with the bearing seats and mounting faces machined after casting.
| Clamping force | 160 – 1250 T, per machine |
|---|---|
| Part weight | 50 g – 25 kg |
| Alloy | ADC12, A380, ZAMAK-5, A356 — supplied with material certificate |

A gearbox housing is mostly volume and ribs, which is exactly what die casting is good at — it fills a complex cavity quickly and repeatably, at a unit cost that stays flat as the batch grows. The bearing seats and the mounting faces are machined afterwards, and they are what the gearbox is actually judged on.
The ranges below are what this shop typically holds. Anything tighter than the baseline is possible — send the drawing and we will confirm it against your specific tolerances rather than quote from a table.
